Butterscotch Breakfast Ring

October 21, 2013 By Adell 4 Comments

This is another great recipe that I got from my husband’s family. For my bridal shower, my sweet mother-in-law gave me a red recipe box full of recipes that were family favorites. This was one of them. I remember the first time I made this. We had company in town and I wanted a fun breakfast so I thought I would give this a try. It was a hit! This is really easy to throw together the night before. In the morning all you have to do is pop it in the oven. We had this a couple weeks ago for our “conference breakfast“. My kids love to pull the sticky, sweet rolls apart. Makes breakfast extra fun. So go ahead and make this, you will be so glad you did.

This overnight breakfast is easy and a total showstopper. My family loves when I make this breakfast!
Recipe type: Breakfast
Ingredients
  • 20 frozen rhodes dinner rolls
  • ½ pkg. butterscotch pudding (not instant)
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Grease a bundt pan.
  2. Melt butter & brown sugar over medium-low heat. Set aside.
  3. Put frozen rolls in the bundt pan.
  4. Sprinkle with the pudding powder, cinnamon & nuts.
  5. Last, pour butter & sugar mixture over the rolls.
  6. Cover with foil & set on counter overnight.
  7. Bake at 350 for 30-35 min.
  8. Let set for a few minutes then turn onto a plate & serve!
Notes
If the top starts to get too brown, cover with the foil for the last 5-10 min.
