Best way to slice a banana!

January 16, 2014 By Adell Leave a Comment

My parents were at a youth activity for our church and one of the youth leaders that was helping with all the meals showed my Mom this neat trick. How did I never know cutting a banana up could be this easy?! I didn’t even really know that bananas separated into 3 different pieces so easily either.

Speaking of a banana. My husband has one for breakfast every day. I’m serious! If we don’t have bananas in the house it is a serious problem. I don’t like a plain banana for breakfast. I really don’t like bananas unless they are in a cream pie, on top of pancakes, banana bread, frozen and used in a green smoothie, in a bowl of steal cut oats, you get my drift. But plain? I just don’t like them. Give me some almond butter and I’m set. Have you had a banana with almond butter? If not, try it ASAP! So amazing.

Anyways, hope you enjoy this fun way to slice up a banana. And the next time you need to cut one up for pancakes, waffles, oatmeal or crepes you will have this little trick up your sleeve 😉 Oh and they are the perfect size for those cute little baby fingers too!

Check back tomorrow for a pancake recipe topped with, you guessed it, bananas!
