Makelle’s (Lime) Jello

September 22, 2014 By Adell 2 Comments

This jello is a family favorite. Easy to make and super delicious!

This salad is named after my husband’s cousin Makelle! It is her favorite 🙂 We just love Makelle. She is serving a mission for our church right now in Guatemala. She is loving every second and we are so proud of her. Here are some pictures of her on her mission!

Isn’t she just darling?!  It’s so fun to hear about the great experiences she is having.

This salad is a breeze to mix together. The cottage cheese adds the right amount of tang & texture. Don’t be afraid if you are not a huge cottage cheese fan, mixed with all the other ingredients I know you will love this salad.

This recipe is perfect to go along with dinner or a great one to bring to a picnic or potluck too. Sometimes a good old fashioned jello salad is just what we need 🙂

This is a lot like a jello salad that is a tradition in my family! Instead of marshmallows and cool whip we use a small can of milk, a small box of lemon jello, and chopped pecans and a cup of boiling water! We always have this for Thanksgiving and Christmas!
