Back on Track Green Smoothie

This smoothie is packed with nutrients. It will have you feeling good and back on track to your health & fitness goals in no time!
  • 2 cups of cold water
  • 2 pieces romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 2 pieces kale, stems removed & chopped
  • handful of spinach
  • 1 apple, cored & chopped
  • ½ cucumber, peeled & chopped
  • 1 orange, peeled & seeds removed
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 banana, chopped & frozen
  • ½" fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons raw cacao nibs
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds
  1. Add water to your blender. Then add the ingredients as listed.
  2. Blend on high in a high powdered blender (I used a Vitamix)
  3. Serve immediately & enjoy!
  4. Makes 2 servings
If you want to prep ahead, you can freeze the greens with the banana. I like to have small bags of greens with berries or a chopped banana ready to go in my freezer so I can just throw it the blender. I'll even keep the ginger peeled and diced up in the freezer so I always have it on hand.
