Utah peaches have arrived! I wish I’d ordered a box. Luckily Sprouts just got a big shipment and they are on sale this week! My sister-in-law, Sarah, sent me this recipe and it’s an all time favorite in their house. It’s easy and SO delicious. Even my non peach-eating husband loved it!
So head to your nearest Sprouts, grab some fresh Utah peaches and make this! I promise you will be glad you did. What better way to celebrate the first day of Fall than by making a fresh peach dessert?! It’s like a final farewell to Summer 🙂 Well, I wish. Fall weather is about 2 months away. Gotta love the Arizona desert! But seriously, I am ready for it to cool down already!
I brought these to my parents’ house Sunday night and they were a hit with the family! My Grandpa Carling was visiting and he loved this dessert. He’s from Fillmore, Utah and could tell by the first bite that it was made with Utah peaches. He said, “Now those are peaches!”

Mix together the following:
2 pkgs Graham crackers, crushed
1 stick butter (melted)
6 Tbs. Sugar
Press half of the mixture in a 9X13″ pan. Save the other half for the top.
Bring to a boil:
2 cups water
1 cup sugar
2 Tbs. Cornstarch
Add small (3 oz.) peach Jello and stir till dissolved. Set aside to cool.
Then add 5 cups peeled and sliced (or diced) fresh peaches. Gently pour
over graham cracker crust. Chill until set. (between 2 to 4 hours)
Topping:
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) carton cool whip
Mix together cream cheese and sugar. Fold in cool whip. Put on top of set peach mixture. Put on the last half of graham cracker mixture. Chill to set.
Notes: I cut my peaches into about 1-2 inch pieces. If you are going to make the day before, wait till the day of to do the cream cheese topping.
