Hot Chocolate Mix

Ingredients
  • 1 (25.6 ounce box) powdered non-fat milk, or 8-10 cups
  • 1 (21.8 ounce) package Nestle Quick
  • 1 (16 ounce) package original coffee mate creamer
  • 1-2 cups powdered sugar (depending on how sweet you like it)
  • 4 Tablespoons cocoa powder (optional)
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a large bowl (or 2 bowls if you don't have one big enough).
  2. Mix together well. Store in an airtight container.
  3. To make the hot chocolate: Add ½ cup (more or less depending on how rich you like your cocoa) to 1 cup boiling (or very hot) water. If the water isn't hot enough, it won't mix well.
  4. NOTES: The cocoa powder is optional, I added it because I like a slightly rich chocolate flavor. If you don't want it too sweet, start with 1 cup powdered sugar and add to taste. This recipe is very customizable. You really can't mess it up! It makes about 16 cups. Here is a version that my aunt made and worked well too.
  5. VARIATION: 1 (25.6 ounce) box powdered milk, ¾ cup powdered sugar, 4 cups Nestle Quick, 2 cups coffee creamer (about half of a 16 ounce package).
