This smoothie is packed with nutrients. It will have you feeling good and back on track to your health & fitness goals in no time!
Ingredients
2 cups of cold water
2 pieces romaine lettuce, chopped
2 pieces kale, stems removed & chopped
handful of spinach
1 apple, cored & chopped
½ cucumber, peeled & chopped
1 orange, peeled & seeds removed
juice of ½ lemon
1 banana, chopped & frozen
½" fresh ginger
2 teaspoons raw cacao nibs
2 teaspoons chia seeds
Instructions
Add water to your blender. Then add the ingredients as listed.
Blend on high in a high powdered blender (I used a Vitamix)
Serve immediately & enjoy!
Makes 2 servings
Notes
If you want to prep ahead, you can freeze the greens with the banana. I like to have small bags of greens with berries or a chopped banana ready to go in my freezer so I can just throw it the blender. I'll even keep the ginger peeled and diced up in the freezer so I always have it on hand.
